Calum Cash Comes To An End

Unless Coventry City had a sell-on clause when they sold Calum Davenport to Tottenham Hotspur for £1.1m rising to £3m,they will receive no more money after the centre half completed a move to West Ham United this morning.

Money was supposed to be paid to City if Davenport played a certain number of games for the North London club. However, loans to West Ham,Southampton and Norwich ensured this did not happen.

A popular player during his time at Highfield Road which saw him rise through the ranks, Davenport has completed a three and a half year deal at Upton Park after the clubs agreed an undisclosed fee.
