Coventry City young defender Nathan Cameron has said he was delighted with his debut against Portsmouth on Saturday.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Cameron, who came through City's Academy and thrived when he was loaned to Nuneaton Town last season to gain some experience, said: "I've worked hard in pre-season and tried to do all of the right things and the manager has put me in the team so if I can keep working hopefully he can keep picking me.
"It's my first year as a professional so I want to get as much experience as possible and it's my job to give the manager something to think about when he is picking his team so hopefully I can keep doing that."
"It's good for Birmingham where we are both from and it's good for the academy because we obviously both graduated through there and it was great to be playing alongside Ben."
