The change has come due to Cardiff's FA Cup tie with Arsenal being selected for television on Sunday 25th January.
City's game against the Welshman will now take place on Wednesday January 28. Kick off is still at 7.45pm.
If City draw their FA Cup tie at Torquay United or if Burnley progress against QPR and draw their game, the replay will mean that Burnley away on February 3rd is postponed.
If City beat Torquay or Palace win through, City's away game at Selhurst Park on February 14th will also be postponed.
