Former Coventry City captain Carl Baker had a cup of scolding hot tea thrown over him during MK Dons 2-2 draw with Crawley Town, according to Dons boss Karl Robinson.
"I've had a player have a scalding cup of tea thrown over his head and neck, and the person was not evicted," Robinson told BBC Three Counties Radio.
"I ran down the touchline to try and grab Carl away. My player had the red mist.
"You tell me any other walk of life where people can just do that and walk away scot-free."
