Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has revealed that he has used suspended captain Carl Baker to spy on Sunday's opponents Preston North End.
Pressley sent Baker, who serves the last game of his three match ban on Sunday, to watch Preston play MK Dons and told the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole: “Carl watched them against MK Dons which was very useful – he’s got a good knowledge of the game and homed in on a number of aspects of their play.
“They are an aggressive team who get the ball forward quickly and utilise Kevin Davies’s physical presence up front.
“They have got a very experienced manager with a history of getting teams promoted and knows how to get out of this division.
“But we know what we have got to do to impose our own style on the game because the players have grasped what we want from them and they believe in how we’re playing.
“We train and play to a structure and when you do that with young players you take away some of their naïvety.”
