Carlisle United gained ground on Coventry City in the League Two table this afternoon.
The Cumbrians, managed to get their game against Grimby Town going ahead and took the lead through Hope in the third minute with Lillis adding a second in the 77th minute of a 2-0 win against Michael Jolley's side.
The win lifted Carlisle up to ninth in the table and put them on 54 points, the same number as the Sky Blues.
Leaders Luton Town were held to a 1-1 draw at Cambridge United. Cov kid James Collins put Luton Ahead but Cambridge equalised through Ibehre in the 83rd minute.
