Carry On Kicking The Ball Out

The Football League have said that they have no plans to change the unwritten rule of kicking the ball out of play when a player goes down injured.

The Premier League which starts on Saturday have said that this custom is out dated and has instructed players,managers and referees that the decision on whether a player needs treatment is now the responsibility of the referee.
