Speaking after the game to Sky Blue Player, the City manager said of the 36 year old midfielder who joined City after his contract at Birmingham City expired: "Lee is a winner and winners have this infectious behaviour which rub off on everybody around them.
"I was thrilled when he decided to come here and if we can keep him fit this season I think he will be a fantastic asset for us."
