Lee Carsley has left Coventry City and joined Sheffield United to join up with his former Everton team mate David Weir and become The Blades Assistant Manager.
Carsley had two spells as a player for City before taking his coaching badges and progressing to become City U18's coach and then City U21's manager before he was called upon to become caretaker manager of City's first team following the resignation of Mark Robins.
Carsley did reasonably well during his time as caretaker and there was plenty of support for him to stay as caretaker until the end of the season rather than appoint Steven Pressley, something seen by sections of the support as a quick and cheap option.
All at Covsupport News Service wish Carso well in the future.
