Only a few weeks to go now to this summer’s 10th Anniversary Golf Day 2017, the second of our two major annual former player reunions, which takes place again at Stoneleigh Deer Park Golf Club early next month, on Thursday 8th June 2017 .
CCFPA’s GD17 organiser Frank Pritchard confirms that only the last few team slots on offer are awaiting payment . We are looking oversubscribed in terms of expressions of interest so please confirm your reservation with payment a.s.a.p. (please before the end of the month) After that we will have to utilise our ‘Reserve/Standby’ list once we have our maximum of 24 paid entries. So please don’t miss out on the guarantee of a tee-time and a chance to nominate a FP playing partner. Please note it may also still be possible to book an individual slot at £90 full price too.!

Remember, each team of three buddies up with one of the more than 20 Sky Blue former players we expect to be playing on the day. These include former CCFC players Claus Bech Jorgensen, Peter Billing, Andy Blair, Jeff Blockley, Ken Brown, Dietmar Bruck, Dave Busst, Ian Goodwin, Jim Holmes, Peter Hormantschuk, Mick Kearns, Gary McSheffrey, Graham Newton, Steve Ogrizovic, Craig Pead, Kirk Stephens, Ian Wallace, Bob Wesson and Andrew Whing as well former manager Ron Atkinson and at least two of our current CCFC players, i.e. Chris Stokes and Ryan Haynes! We understand Andy, Claus and ‘Big Ron’ will also be entering teams and other Former Players will be watching!

The day will begin with a bacon roll and coffee on arrival followed by an excellent 18 holes of competition play (tee off between 11am- 1pm), all finished off with a fabulous three course meal, a prize presentation and speeches. There will be prizes galore, a raffle and auction of great sporting memorabilia including from the Sky Blues and a George Best signed limited edition of his autobigraphy. CCFPA’s Billy Bell will be on hand to keep everyone entertained and all are guaranteed a great time!
