The long running saga over the future of Coventry City's Keiren Westwood continues unabated.
Celtic manager Neil Lennon has had one bid, described by Coventry City as 'derisory', turned down and had been tipped to be preparing to make an improved offer, but now that Manchester City have said that Given can leave if he wishes, Celtic may now turn their attention to him instead.
Lennon told The Daily Record: "He [Given] could be an option. It's not just Shay we are thinking about, we have been thinking about the goalkeeper position for a long time now. Whether we go for a loan or a buy, it's at the forefront of our thoughts now."
