Celtic remain interested in former Coventry City forward Craig Bellamy.
Both Celtic and Bellamy's current club Manchester City are in Dublin for the Dublin Super Cup and Celtic's major shareholder Dermot Desmond is being reported as having talks with Man City's CEO Gary Cook.
Wages appear to be a big stumbling block as the Scottish side for whom Bellamy was once on loan after a spat at Newcastle United, are only being reported as being able to pay £20k of Bellamy's currentb 90k a week wage.
“There is interest, but it is dictated to by finances,” Neil Lennon told The Telegraph.
“I hope to catch up with Manchester City while they are here and see if we can take it from there.”
