Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that Reice Charles-Cook deserves his new contract extension.
Speaking about the keeper signing a deal which keeps him at City until June 2018, Mowbray told Keiran Crowley: "I've been delighted with Reice this season, on and off the field, and he is fully deserving of his new deal.
"Having started the season behind Lee Burge, his desire and application on the training pitch to become better was noticeable and when he got into the first-team, he took his opportunity exceptionally well.
"As I've said previously, the club needs to protect it's young assets and Reice is one of them. We're delighted to get the deal signed and I'm sure he'll continue his impressive form this season and beyond."
