Another CCFC - Chester City are in the hunt for two former Coventry City players.
The side from the Deva Stadium are close to signing Eddie Johnson. Loaned to City from Manchester United, Johnson did reasonably well at Highfield Road before an ankle injury sustained whilst playing for City Reserves saw a premature return to Old Trafford.
He signed for Bradford City last season but has been released.
The second player, Chester are interested in is Antony Barry. The midfielder played for City Reserves without getting near the first team and was released mid season by Micky Adams. He joined Accrington Stanley, helping them into the Football League and then had two seasons at Yeovil. His second season at Huish Park was hampered by injuries and he was released last month.
