Chippo was stretchered out of the game against Arsenal reserves after just 17 minutes and is expected to be sidelined for the whole of the Christmas period.

Meanwhile, the Sky Blues have cancelled Italian midfielder Marco Brancati's contract.

The 19-year-old's contract was cancelled by mutual consent with immediate effect.
