Chris Stokes has left Coventry City.
The defender has finally joined Bury on a free transfer and has signed a two year deal with the League Two club.
Stokes joined City from Forest Green Rovers and went on to make over eighty first appearances including playing in the EFL Trophy Final and League Two Play-Off Final at Wembley.
Stokes told Bury's club website about his move: “I'm delighted to have signed for Bury. It has probably gone on a while longer than I wanted it to, but I'm really happy to finally be here.
“Once I spoke to the Manager and the staff I was really excited to join and to get it over the line.
“Now I'm here I just want to get things going and get working.”
