Christ The King will face Racing Club Warwick in the final of the Coventry Charity Cup Fiinal after a 5-0 semi-final final victory over Hawkesmill Sports at Coventry Copsewood FC.

Hawkesmill, who have Coventry City 1987 FA Cup Final hero Lloyd McGrath as a coach, started the brighter in a game which raised even more money than last night's first semi-final but Kings got into the game winning two corners and having Craig Goodbody fire wide from a Scott McGregor free kick.

In the 21st minute, Pykett in the Hawkesmill goal made a fantastic one handed save to deny Steve Griffin from twenty yards. This produced a corner which Andy Morris headed onto the cross bar.

Pykett produced a double save in the 27th minute but could do nothing in first half stoppage time when a Kings corner was headed to the edge of the area for Steve Griffin to lash high into the net.

Fourteen minutes into the second half, Kings doubled their tally when substitute Jay Cuddington was at the far post to finish off a good move down the left.

Two minutes later and Kings had a free kick on the edge of the area and up-stepped Kiam Calding to confidently score with a low free kick.

In the 71st minute, Collier handled and referee Mr Jones awarded a penalty which Calding cooly converted.

The goalscoring was not over and in the 79th minute, Griffin attacked down the left and crossed for Martin Parker to tap in for Kings fifth goal of the night.

The final will be at the Ricoh Arena on Friday April 27th at 7.30pm.
