Coventry City defender Cyrus Christie has said that he wants to cement his place in the first team.
Christie had been out for a good while but since coming back into the team, has scored twice and may well be shifted into midfield to replace Carl Baker for this afternoon's game at Doncaster Rovers.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Alan Poole, Christie, the Covsupport News Service Young Player Of The Year for last season, said: "I was out for a long while and came into this season still injured.but now I'm back in the side and trying to cement that place and make it mine.."
Christie is keeping Jordan Clarke out of the team and Christie said of him:"Jordan is always going to be there because he is a great player who started off the season really well but there are no problems between us.
"We're professionals and we have to get on with it. We'll stay friends - he pushes me and I push him, so its healthy. It is making us both better players."
