Coventry City have finally appointed Jimmy Hill and George Curtis as Life Presidents of the club.
The work done by both of them over the years to transform the club is well documented and City Director John Clarke told the CT's Andy Turner: "If Coventry was to ever carve three faces in say Corley Rocks as the American presidents are in Mount Rushmore, they would be Jimmy Hill, George Curtis and John Sillett who are the three icons of the club.
"We look back at what Jimmy has achieved, which was carried on by John and George, who were all part of the Jimmy Hill era. He's the ambassador for Coventry City Football Club, bar none - a marvellous man.
"He set the bench mark and is an inspiration to this day. He was an innovator with the Sky Blue trains and seated stadium etc - a hard act to follow and an absolute icon."
Hill and Curtis now join John Sillett and Joe Elliott as life presidents.
