City Apologise For Coleman Comment

Coventry City have apologised to Icelandic Club Breidablik about comments made by Chris Coleman about Johan Berg Gudmunsson who has signed AZ 67 Almaar rather than the Sky Blues.

They have issued the following statement: "FOLLOWING Coventry City manager Chris Coleman's comments made yesterday regarding Johann Berg Gudmunsson, we can confirm at no time did Coventry City Football Club reach an agreement with Icelandic side Breidablik regarding a possible transfer between the two clubs for the services of the player

We would like to apologise to Breidablik for any offence this may have caused."
