Coventry City have apologised to supporters wanting to attend Monday's League One game at Walsall who have yet to get a ticket but now find themselves having to travel to the Bescot Stadium to get a ticket as tickets are not available to be purchased online, over the phone or on the day.

Dan Walker told the Coventry Observer: “We can totally understand the frustration and disappointment from the supporters regarding tickets for the Walsall game but it is a situation forced upon us by the closure of the offices at the Ricoh Arena.

“The away support has been magnificent this season – easily one of the best in the division – and we have looked at every way we could to work out an alternative and are still trying to find a viable solution.

“We are trying to make sure everyone who has booked tickets will get their tickets by today.”
