City Back To Full Strength

Coventry City should be back to full strength for the Jackson Grundy Cup tie at Northampton Town tonight.

Clinton Morrison, James McPake, Elliott Ward and Keiren Westwood who was withdrawn just before kick off on Saturday at Hinckley should all be able to feature in the match.

"Keiren is all right," said Chris Coleman to the CT. "He had been doing squatting in the gym last week and it just niggled his knee so we didn't want to take the risk on Saturday.

"The other guys who were not there at Hinckley are not too bad either. "Elliott has had a niggle on his knee, James was back in training this week and Clinton was ill on Wednesday when he played the first half against Nuneaton. "He didn't react great to that, so I wasn't going to chance him against Hinckley.

"We are lacking a bit of quality at the moment but we mustn't forget that Stephen Wright and David Bell have only played a couple of games in the last four or five months and we are trying our best to get them up to scratch," Coleman went on to say.

"But the main thing is getting through it without any injuries. "Tonight will be a different type of game against Northampton. The non-League sides tend to be very lively and play at break-neck speed and are desperate not to lose.

"It will be just as tough and another good test for us and these next four games are going to be hard, but that's what we want before we play Ipswich."

Kick off is at 7.45pm and the programme will cost £3. City season ticket holders can save £2 on admission prices by showing their season ticket or receipt when they buy their ticket from the cabin behind the South Stand.
