Coventry City are being reported has having bid for Walsall striker Amadou Bakayoko.
The Sierra Leone player is 22 years old and has played on loan for Southport, AFC Telford and Worcester City.
Media reports claim that City bid around £200,000 including add-ons for the striker, who is also wanted by Bristol Rovers.
Coventry City manager Mark Robins is understood to be looking to secure one player on a permanent transfer and two on loans before the Transfer Window closes at 5pm on Thursday.
