Coventry City manager Mark Robins admitted that he enjoyed the good natured humour from the City support at Adams Park on Tuesday night.
As well as bantering a Wycombe substitute for warming up on an exercise bike, the City support let manager Mark Robins have it with both barrels following comments made by then Mansfield Town manager Steve Evans who called the City boss "Squeaky"
Chants of "There's only one Squeaky Robins", "He Squeaks When He Wants" and "Squeaky, Give Us A Wave", provided a few light moments of mirth both for the City supporters and those in the technical area and dug out, before Marc McNulty stroked home an 81st minute penalty and City left with a much needed victory.
Mark Robins admitted at the press conference this morning that he giggled at the song from the City support and said: "I think the sense of humour from the crowd at Wycombe was magnificent.
“The chants were funny and I thought it was brilliant. I was giggling to myself in the dugout whilst also telling the players not to be repeating those songs.
“They’ve had their fun now. I prefer the original version over the remix. I thought it was really funny.
“I think they were shouting more Mike Bassett than England manager!”
