Coventry City manager Mark Robins has said that he is looking for more balance in his squad of players.
Robins, who will probably take someone on loan and is not letting on to exactly how active he may or may not be in the January transfer market, although until the Sky Blues get a signed deal with Wasps/ACL to play at the Ricoh Arena next season and beyond, it is going to be hard to bring in any permanent signings on long term deals.
The City boss told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “There are players I would like to get in.
“We need some more balance, I suppose, off either side.
"We need to do something on the flanks.
“We’re trying to address that in the transfer window so we can have a good second half of the season. “I have been speaking to our head of recruitment Chris Badlan regularly.
“We have looked at things and whether we have got something, I don’t know. “It’s one of those situations where you just have to hang fire.
“In fairness there are other things I would like to do but I have got to wait until we can generate the funds to do that.
“But it is what it is. We might get bids for some of ours, I don’t know. “I hope not. I hope we can get through the window.
“I haven’t really given much thought to the fact that we might lose some.
“That’s not true, we have given thought to it but not really feared it.
“But if that happens it might just open the door for something else. So there are lots of ifs and buts.
“But I am only looking at loans at the minute.”
