Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray is sitting down to talk to players he would like to sign this week.
The City boss told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “I’m in Coventry this week having a few meetings with Mark Venus and a few players.
“We might have to wait another week or so but we’re going to sit down and have a good chat to people and tell them what we’re all about and let them get a feel for my personality.
“I want to talk to them about football, not put them under any pressure to get signed up. You hear stories that some managers virtually handcuff them to the chair and not let them leave until they commit themselves.
“They have to come for the right reasons and I want them to know how I talk to them and how I want to treat them; that’s how it works for me.
“They hear me talking, get a feel for my personality and hopefully they buy into the personality of the manager.”
