Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray is planning a week's training for his players with possibly a game at the end of it in Europe from July 10th to July 17th.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner about his pre-season plans, Mowbray said: “We’re looking to get away if we can.
“We’re going to train rather than play three games in a week. We’ll maybe play one game at the end of a hard week’s training.
“We’re playing Nuneaton first and then probably fly off if we’re going abroad the following day which will be at the end of our first bit of preparation.
“We’ll play a game out there and then come back and play Tuesday/Saturday/Tuesday/Saturday for a couple of weeks.
“We have got a few games pencilled in and we’re just waiting for confirmation.
“I have always said I don’t like playing teams in our league, so we won’t be playing any League One sides and will be more likely League Two sides again for the majority.”
