Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has said that he will look at some trialists in a bid to strengthen his squad.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, the City boss said: “We need to strengthen if we can and we’re looking hard and will probably have some triallists over the next couple of weeks and try to add to it.
“Football isn’t daft and unless he’s been let go from a higher league and not been picked up I’m not sure there’s a 20-goal a season man out there.
“We are looking actively every day and there’s a world of agents throwing names at us every day but they have to be the right ones.
“We have made some commitments to loan players and they need game time and the opportunity to score and play at this level. But if we find the stick-on player that becomes the main man because he scores the day he comes then the rest will have to wait for their opportunities.”
