Coventry City CEO Tim Fisher has confirmed that the Sky Blues can leave Sixfields at any time, if the chance to move back to the Ricoh Arena comes up.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Simon Gilbert, Mr Fisher said: “Of course we built in break clauses. We are committed to play at Sixfields for three years with a rolling option for a further two years whilst the new stadium is built.
“Of course, the break clause is accompanied by a penalty payment.”
