According to the legal department of the Football Supporters Federation, Coventry City cannot issue banning orders.
The club have threatened banning orders for those who were peacefully protesting on the pitch during the defeat to Sheffield United in a press statement.
However, Amanda Jacks has tweeted, following the issuing of the press statement last night: "Clubs cannot issue banning orders.
"They can only issue club bans which will probably include not selling away tickets but they cannot ban fans from attending away games."
Since the issuing of the statement by Coventry City, there has been a steady flow of City supporters saying on social media that they have had enough of the club under Sisu & Otium and will be banning themselves from matches.
