City Claim No Bid Received

Coventry City claim that as of 9.44am this morning they are still waiting to officially receive a bid from Gary Hoffman and his consortium.

An e-mail laying out the terms of an offer was sent to City chairman Ken Dulieu yesterday afternoon and copied on letter-headed paper and sent by registered post which was expected to arrive this morning. However, the club are claiming that they have not received it.

According to the CT, the board which had Ken Dulieu in Portugal, Leonard Brody who has Ray Ranson's shares, John Clarke and Oywe igwe held a conference call board meeting yesterday but are now claiming they did not discuss the bid.
