Coventry City have completed a deal to bring in Hermann Hreidarsson from Portsmouth FC.
The 37 year old Icelandic defender who has signed until the end of the season on a free transfer, has played for the likes of Crystal Palace, Brentford, Wimbledon, Ipswich, Charlton and clocked up over 100 appearances at Premier League and Championship level.
City boss Andy Thorn has described Hreidarsson who will go into the squad to face Middlesbrough on Saturday as 'the experience we need'.
