Coventry City have this morning denied the Facebook rumour which has been circulating for the last couple of months of a possible groundshare at MK Dons.
The Sky Blues are coming to the end of their contract with the owners of the Ricoh Arena and are as yet to announce where the Sky Blues will be playing next season.
The delay, not helped by the Christmas Message from CEO David Boddy which basically said nothing, in announcing the venue for next season has done nothing to quell the fears or stop rumours that taking the Sky Blues out of Coventry, for a second time could happen and would be a decison that would probably kill the club, which relies on match income, if the numbers who stayed away from matches that were played at Northampton are anything to go by.
City have tweeted to supporters asking about the rumour: "We can deny your rumour. "As said by Dave Boddy, we will be in a position to make an announcement regarding next season imminently."
The club, have tweeted: "As per the website story, we hope to provide a positive update for fans imminently. We do appreciate your patience."
