Coventry City have denied the rumour that the Sky Blues could be moving to Rugby Town.
The rumours named Tim Fisher as the source for the rumour which said that City would move into Rugby Town's ground and that the Butlin Road ground would be extended with two temporary stand taking their capacity up to 9,000.
This has been denied this morning by the Sky Blues, who have said:
"Contrary to some reports on social media, Chairman Tim Fisher did not make any announcement yesterday about a groundshare next season at Rugby Town, or at any other venue.
As per this article, the Club's aim and our Plan A is to be playing at the Ricoh Arena next season #PUSB"
City CEO David Boddy said in his programme notes yesterday:"Myself and all of the staff at Coventry City will leave no stone unturned to try and resolve this situation. Our aim and our Plan A is to be playing at the Ricoh Arena."
