City Down To 15th

Coventry City are down to 15th in the Championship table after losing 4-0 at Plymouth Argyle this afternoon.

The Sky Blues dropped a place due to Watford drawing 1-1 with Barnsley who had Michael Mifsud booked.

Wolves are four points clear at the top from Birmingham City who drew 0-0 at bottom side Charlton Athletic. A win for the Sky Blues on Monday afternoon could send the Addicks down if other results did not go their their way.

Sheffield United are third with Cardiff who won 2-0 at Crystal Palace fourth. Reading are fifth with Burnley in sixth place after beating manager-less QPR 1-0.

Norwich City are back in the bottom three of the Championship after a 2-1 defeat at Swansea City. Nottingham Forest, whom City travel to next Saturday, beat Bristol City 3-2 to move up to fourth bottom. Dele Adebola netted in the 78th minute for the visitors.

Elsewhere, Derby won 1-0 at Sheffield Wednesday, Doncaster won 3-1 at Ipswich and Blackpool won 1-0 at neighbours Preston North End.

Bas Savage scored for Tranmere in a 1-0 win at Walsall whilst leaders Leicester City won at Hereford. Adam Virgo scored for Brighton but the relegation threatened Seagulls lost 3-2 at home to Swindon Town.

In League One, Paul Furlong scored his 200th Football League goal and was booked for celebrating the goal which gave Barnet a victory over AFC Bournemouth.

Craig Reid scored the winner for Newport County in a 1-0 win at Dorchester Town.

In Scotland, Kevin Kyle hit a hat-trick for Kilmarnock against Falkirk. His goals in the 11th, 36th and 84th plus a booking earned a standing ovation from the home fans and rave reviews from his manager Jim Jeffries who told the BBC: "Kevin Kyle worked hard today. He chased balls and flicked them on. He defended well."

Locally, Rugby Town are sixth from bottom in the Southern League Premier Division after a 1-1 draw at Chippenham Town. David Klodinski scored for Tony Dobson's side.

Leamington are ten points clear at the top of the Southern League Midland Division after a 1-0 win at Marlow. Stuart Herlihy scored the only goal of the game.

Nuneaton Town are second. Boro were beaten 1-0 at home by Chesham United with Masala netting in stoppage time. Bedworth United lost 2-0 at Dunstable.

In the Midland Alliance, Market Drayton are seven points clear at the top from Barwell. Sphinx who lost 3-2 at home to Rocester are fifth.
Racing Club Warwick lost 3-0 at home to Coalville whilst former Sky Blue Paul Hall scored twice for Stratford Town in a 6-2 win at Highgate United.

Former City youngster Aza Ogarro scored for Cradley in a 3-2 defeat at Causeway United.

In the Midland Combination Premier Division, Coventry Copsewood lost 2-1 at Bolehall Swifts. Peta Jon Gordon netted for Carl Nolan's side.

Third placed Southam drew 1-1 at Heath Hayes, Massey Ferguson were stuffed 5-1 at home by Oldbury Athletic whilst sixth placed Nuneaton Griff lost 2-1 at home to Cadbury Athletic.

In Division Three, Coventry Amateurs lost 2-1 to Lichfield City
