City Down To 17th

Coventry City have dropped down to 17th after the 3-1 home defeat by Burnley.

Birmingham City are back on the top of the Championship table after a 1-0 home win against Crystal Palace thanks to a stoppage tiome goal from O'Connor.

Wolves had topped the table going into their match tonight at Norwich City but went down to a 5-2 defeat with third placed Reading beat Doncaster 2-1.

Bristol City are fourth after a 2-0 win at Charlton with Cardiff moving into fifth thanks to two goals from former Sky Blue Jay Bothroyd earned the Bluebirds a 2-2 draw at Watford.

Burnley's win at the Arena moves them into the final play-off spot.

At the other end, Nottingham Forest are routed to the bottom after a 1-1 home draw with Ipswich Town. Doncaster are second bottom with Barnsley who beat Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 in the final relegation place.

Derby who travel to Coventry on Saturday lost 3-2 at Blackpool whilst Preston's long trek to Plymouth saw them beaten 1-0.

The games at Sheffield United and Swansea both finished in 0-0 draws.

Scunthorpe United are still top of League One despite a 1-1 draw at home to Southend but have been joined in poll position by Millwall who won 2-1 at Colchester United

Locally,

Both Bedworth United and Rugby Town are through after FA Trophy Replays. Bedworth beat Rushall 4-1 whilst Rugby Town beat Lancaster City 2-0.

In a Midland Alliance fixture, Racing Club Warwick moved up the table with a 3-2 win over bottom side Oldbury United. Martin Crawford and a brace from Jason Ramsey gave Racing the victory.

Midland Combination leaders Massey Ferguson beat Walsall Wood 2-1 with goals from Manoochehri and Robbie Beard. Southam United are second after a 2-0 win at Coventry Copsewood.
