City Down To Eighth

Coventry City are down to eighth in the Championship table after Saturday's matches.

The Sky Blues were beaten 3-1 at Millwall this afternoon and dropped four places as a result.

QPR, who came back to snatch a 2-2 draw at Derby County, still top the table, followed by Cardiff for whom Jay Bothroyd scored in a 2-0 win at Portsmouth.

Ipswich are third after a 2-0 home win against Bristol City with Scotland scoring on his Portman Road debut.

Millwall lie fourth, whilst Burnley, who lost 1-0 at Swansea, lead a group of teams including the Sky Blues on seven points.

Portsmouth are bottom of the table on one point and are joined by Leicester City who were beaten 2-1 at home by Reading with former City defender Matty Mills getting the winner in stoppage time.

Elsewhere in the division, there were wins for Barnsley, Doncaster, Scunthorpe, Sheffield United and Leeds United. Nottingham Forest drew with Norwich.
