City Down To Sixteenth

Coventry City are down to sixteenth place in the Championship table after the 0-0 draw at Swansea City in the Boxing Day matches round of matches.

Wolves are seven points clear at the top of the table from Reading after both sides managed 1-1 draws with Sheffield United and Cardiff respectively.

Reading's goal came from their goalkeeper Federici in the sixth minute of stoppage time.

Nottingham Forest remain third bottom but have sacked manager Colin Calderwood after losing 4-2 at home to Doncaster Rovers who have now joined them on 21 points.

Charlton are still bottom after a 2-2 draw with QPR.

Former Sky Blues on the mark were Craig Bellamy (2) for West Ham in a 4-1 win at Portsmouth, Robbie Keane also scored twice for Liverpool in a 3-0 win over Bolton. Dele Adebola scored for Bristol City in a 4-2 win at Watford. Lee Hughes scored twice for Oldham at Crewe whilst Kevin Kyle was booked for Hartlepool in a 3-0 defeat at Scunthorpe.

Kidderminster Harriers, who travel to the Ricoh Arena on Saturday week, were held 1-1 at home by Forest Green.
