League leaders QPR came back to snatch a 1-1 draw at Portsmouth and are two points ahead of Cardiff City who play on Wednesday night as do third placed Swansea City.
Form side Derby County are fourth thanks to two goals from Kris Commons giving them a 2-0 win at Ipswich whilst Norwich are fifth after being pegged back to draw 1-1 at Millwall.
Bottom side Crystal Palace, who are Coventry City's next opponents, beat Watford 3-2 but stay bottom thanks to a worst goal difference than Preston who lost 2-1 at home to Barnsley. Bristol City are third bottom.
Elsewhere, there was a 2-0 win for Middlesbrough and draws at Burnley and Leeds.
