Former Coventry City players Cyrus Christie and Richard Keogh played for Derby County in the Championship Play-Off Semi-Final Second Leg at Hull City.
The Rams were 3-0 down from the first leg but the former City Academy product set up Jonny Russell in the seventh minute and with a Robertson own goal, Derby were only a goal down going into the break.
There were no goals in the second half and Hull City will face Sheffield Wednesday in the final with a 3-2 aggregate win.
