Coventry City have ended their interest in Jordan Lussey.
The former Southport player has been on trial with the Sky Blues but Mark Robins said: “Jordan’s gone; we decided not to pursue that after the tour.
“With the players we have, and may want to bring in, what I don’t want to do is block everything.
“I have to be mindful of having a squad capable of challenging this season and getting us back up at the earliest opportunity, but also Jordan Shipley has come back in decent nick this summer and Callum Maycock joined in against Barnsley for the first time in the pre-season, so I want to do right by them as well.
“If they continue to impress and stake their claim then we will look to bring on our own players before we do anything else.”
