A Coventry City has had his banning order over-turned by a court.
Mark Wynn was arrested for at City's home game with Derby County last season for get involved in an argument about a police officer not wearing his number, an incident which provoked further crowd trouble.
Mr Wynn was given an initial three year ban after being found guilty under a Section 5 offence.
However, as he was affected by an exclusion zone as part of the ban due to living in inside it, he went back to court to appeal the ban, this time with the help of a Football Supporters Association solicitor and as the case was about to begin, the Crown Prosecution Service announced it would not oppose the appeal and he was told by Judge Coates that he was not guilty of the offence.
