Coventry City finished eighteenth in the League One table after a 2-1 defeat at Sheffield United.
City finished on 51 points from 46 games, taking into the account the ten points that were deducted at the start of the season. If those points had not been deducted, the Sky Blues would have finished in tenth place and the season would have had a lot different.
With Stevenage, who lost 2-0 at Brentford and Shrewsbury who drew 1-1 at Gillingham, already relegated, the only thing left in League One was who would join them in League Two next season.

Leyton Orient finished third in League One with a 3-1 win at MK Dons, Rotherham who won 2-1 at Swindon finished fourth, Preston were fiftth and Peterborough United finished sixth after a 0-0 draw with Port Vale.
Sheffield United, who at one stage were bottom of the table finished seventh whilst elsewhere Crawley drew 1-1 with Bristol City and Colchester won 1-0 at Walsall.
