Coventry City will be the Southern Section West Group of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Draw.
Steven Pressley's side will face either Cheltenham Town, Newport County, Oxford United, Portsmouth, Swindon Town, Wycombe Wanderers or Yeovil Town in the First Round.
The draw will be made on Saturday August 16th with First Round matches to be played on Tuesday September 2nd or Wednesday September 3rd.
Last season, City were given a First Round bye but their lowly League One finish and exit in the Second Round of the competition means that City will start in the First Round.
