Coventry City have nothing to fear from the lastest Government report which says the supporters’ voice must be listened to by the football authorities and clubs.

The Football Supporters’ Federation (FSF) was part of the group tasked with making recommendations to the government, along with Supporters Direct, the Premier League, Football League, National League and FA.

The report says that clubs must meet with fans’ groups at least twice a year and tells the FA to consider “greater supporter representation on FA Council”.

On the meeting with fans score, those in charge of the Sky Blues have no worries about meeting the new recommendations.

Representatives from City's Board as well as employees of the club attend all the Supporters Consultative Group meetings and regularly are in touch with supporters groups such as the Sky Blue Trust and other supporters and over the last year, City have allowed representatives from the SCG to attend their board meetings.
