Turf Moor may have not hosted Coventry City tonight due to FA Cup ties taking preference but Burnley's ground is becoming a graveyard for Premier League teams after The Clarets beat top flight West Brom 3-1 in a Fourth Round Replay.

Coventry City manager Chris Coleman had Saturday's opponents Wolves watched tonight in their Championship game against Norwich City. Sylvan Ebanks Blake hit a hat-trick for Mick McCarthy's side with Croft, Cort and Doherty giving the Canaries a share of the spoils.

Former City striker Dele Adebola scored twice for Bristol City in a 2-1 win against Charlton whilst Southampton conceded a goal in stoppage time to go down 2-1 at home to Sheffield United.

Plymouth got a point from their long trek to Preston North End in a 1-1 draw.

Postponed matches in the Championship were at Crystal Palace, QPR and Sheffield Wednesday.

Cov kid Danny Nardiello was sent off for Hartlepool at Huddersfield Town whilst League One leaders Leicester City won 4-1 at Walsall.

Locally, Bedworth and Nuneaton's games were postponed as were all the games in the Midland Alliance.
