Coventry City, are as expected, in talks with Jonson Clarke-Harris.
The Leicester born striker, who came through City's Academy and went on to become the club's youngster ever player when he debuted away to Morecame in a League Cup tie, was released by Rotherham United whom he returned to last week after coming on as a substitute for the Sky Blues in their 3-1 promotion winning victory over Exeter City at Wembley.
The deal that City had with The Millers who also won at Wembley, thanks to two goals from fromer City defender Richard Wood, was that the loan of Clarke-Harris was with a view to a permanent deal in the close season.
Whilst on loan, Clarke-Harris scored four times in 21 appearances and it appears has done enough for Mark Robins to want to take matters forward and discuss the length of any contract and personal terms.
