Coventry City are after a striker said Sky Blues boss Chris Coleman. With Leon Best out for six weeks with a broken cheekbone, the City manager has been scouring the markets and is hopeful that he can land his target before the transfer dead-line expires on February 2nd.
A tight seal has been placed around the target with only those who need to know being told the player's identity.
"We have had our eye on the lad for a while and we are hopeful something will happen," was all Chris Coleman would say to the CT. It is understood that the player in question does play in the English League.
Gary McSheffrey, whom Coleman admitted yet again he was a fan of at the Fans Forum last Thursday, is one possible target.
