The Sky Blues, Ipswich, Crystal Palace and and Sheffield United are all reported as monitoring the defender who has a year on his Wednesday contract left.
Wood who has been linked with City before has made 166 appearances for Sheffield Wednesday and scored six goals, one of which was against the Sky Blues in April 2008.
