Coventry City Ladies manager Craig Nicholls was delighted with his side's 7-1 League Cup victory at Liverpool Marshall Feds.
Nicholls told Matty Roper: "That was a brilliant performance today and we were back to how we usually play, with high tempo and desire. We enjoyed a lot of possession and used quick, sharp interchanges to create numerous chances."
He also added: "All the girls looked sharper too today and getting through the game with no injuries is another positive to take going in to Thursdays clash with Sporting Club Albion."
Scorer of four goals, Katie Lowder said: "We were much better today, our movement was first class. We created a lot of chances, and obviously I am happy to have put four of them away, but it's credit to the girls really and how we played. The game gives us plenty of confidence before the next match."
